Weekly Teacher Training

Ongoing professional development is a hallmark of Hopeland schools. We have been running our own workshops and encouraging participation in outside workshops and trainings since our inception in July 2007. Our language teachers regularly attend our weekly Teacher Training sessions, which are language-specific and run by the teachers themselves. We believe that in order to be good teachers we must continuously revise the basics, share what we know, learn new methods, and update our knowledge.

"Cours de Soutien" Teachers

Hopeland Institute offers extra classes (cours de soutien) for all levels and all subjects.  Hopeland provides large classroom spaces for experienced teachers and their students. Contact us for more information.

Teachers of English

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree in the English language (masters degree preferred), or be native or near-native speakers of English. Previous teaching experience preferred. ESP teacher candidates should also have a strong background in their area of expertise. All candidates, including native speakers of English, must take a placement test which includes grammar recognition, a written and an oral test.
