Accomplish the Imaginable

Educational Sponsorships

CURRENT PROJECTS

Public educational facilities, from the primary school level through university, are in desperate need of maintenance and renovation.  Many university classrooms, as an example, are lacking basic structural elements, such as lights, heat, movable desks, doorknobs, etc.  Windows are broken or dirty, and the echo in the classrooms makes modern, innovative teaching techniques impractical. In addition, there aren’t enough classrooms or administrative offices.  There are no regular maintenance crews.

Old, repainted blackboards are prevalent and the resulting chalk dust from their use contributes both to the uncleanliness of the classrooms and health concerns for both students and teachers. Peeling paint and writing on the walls do not encourage student progress. Internet access is limited to teachers and is often non-operational and certainly outdated. Printers and adequate copy machines are scarce.  In addition, students cannot find or afford adequate books, especially in English, to access the knowledge base in their area of study.

Hopeland’s university textbook gift project is one way sponsors can experience the joy associated with good-will branding.  Hopeland works with university pedagogical committees to determine student and teacher needs, then acts as the sponsor’s agent to bring the books from the printing press directly to the classroom, assuring sponsor recognition in each and every book.

Another way to participate is by putting your company's name on a beautiful brass plaque in front of a university building and sponsoring its long-term renovation or rebuilding. Imagine your corporate identity on a beautiful plaque in front of Algeria’s future every day as the students and professors enter the building known by your company’s name.  Year after year, signage with your logo displayed throughout your building will discreetly remind teachers, administrators, thousands of students, and their families and friends that your company is responsible for providing them with a safe, clean, comfortable, attractive, climatized environment in which to nurture Algeria’s best and brightest.
